if the western have fries and burger as their junk food, so does Indonesia! we have junk food called "gorengan", it mainly found in java island, it include several fries
from top (left to right):

2. cireng (a.k.a aci digoreng ) a fries made from starch flour with various filling on it (its original filling was oncom [link])
3. fried banana
4. fried tofu (our traditional tofu isn't smooth like the japan had, and it's more textured)
5.risoles, a kind of croquette with vegetable filling
6. vegetable puff
7. gulali (it's not a fries anyway )a traditional candy made from palm sugar and roasted peanut
8.bala-bala (or bakwan in betawi accent) a fries that made from flour, egg, carrot, and cabbage mixture
